Feels ages since I last blogged! Well, what has happened since the last time? Not a lot!

I have applied to a couple of schools to work as a teaching assistant, no job advertised, just on the off chance: no luck so far, not even a reply! Never mind, I will keep looking. In the meantime I have my reading and crochet and knitting!

My son had the day off school during the week, he got up with a hacking cough and looked rough, so he stayed home. We decided that we could walk to the library with the dog, it is a nice walk, and the fresh air and exercise would help. We got down there, changed our books and was about to leave when the librarian asked if we wanted to see the childrens author who was visiting today. Nathan jumped up and down begging to stop! The author was one of his favorites, Andy Griffiths. Well, I said ok. Nathan really enjoyed listening to him. An inspiration to him.

I have had a quiet week this week. My daughter had a day off school ill, there are lots of bugs going round at the moment. She didn't feel well, but couldn't put her finger on how she was ill. However, I know she was not pulling a sickie! My son tried to on Friday, but he has to learn you can't stomp off and the return with another ailment!

I have just finished a fantastic novel. Encarnita's Journey, I have done a review on my Book Club Blog, just follow the link under my list! It was a facinating read. Now I have to choose what to read next! Is it to be Australian or New Zealand? Can't decide! Both look good, might have to do eenie meenie miny mo! I will update my book list when I decide.

Do you have any dreams? I mean for the future! (Yes! I have the other sort too! Phewie! Lets not go there!) One thing I dream of, is having a hobby farm. We will have nut trees, a couple of pigs, some chooks, and perhaps some olive trees. Hubby wants to retire at 50, but I think he will get easily bored, so we decided that we will have the hobby farm, produce some of our own veggies, gather our own eggs and make bacon. One day, it will happen.

My son is now 10 years old! My baby is growing up! It does not seem like 10 years ago that I was in Huntingdon Hospital, having a beautiful baby boy. A large baby boy! He is a lovely son, loving, caring, even said I looked hot when we went out for dinner!

Anyhow, this week I have read my Harry Potter! What a good ending I thought! Others have said that Snape should have been acknowledged more, I think he knew what could happen, and Harry acknowledged it appropriately. I am now reading the second Amelia Peabody! What an era to live in! That was my time!

We often say we were suited to a different time, I feel the late 1800's, early 1900's is my time. Don't know why. It just feels 'my time'! Why is that? Others say theirs is earlier, others later, others don't know! But then, I also feel at home here in Australia, compared to England. Not that I didn't feel at home in England! I just felt that I would not stop there, and now I am here, I am happy! I wonder if I was sent over here in a previous life? I know I was not a convict, if I was, I was a rich one!
